Heritage, influence, purpose, and legacy.
These ideas were hard wired into the hearts of men and women by the Lord alone. Join me as we walk the ancient paths of our Christian heritage seeking to understand the roots of our Christian faith. Discover the places of influence where God placed people of the Bible like Abraham, Samson, Hezekiah, and David. Traverse the hills of Galilee and connect with the Life and ministry of Jesus and his disciples. Travel the streets of Jerusalem and contemplate the legacy of faith beginning with Abraham and fulfilled in the resurrection of Christ extending into your life. Understand the grander purposes of God as they are revealed in the history, archaeology, geography, and culture of the Scriptures. As we experience Israel with the Biblical text as our guide, open your eyes to understand the Scriptures through its eastern context maybe for the first time. All along the way consider your own faith as you are challenged to understand the paths of God in your own life and to leave a lasting legacy.
Dates are May 28 to June 9, 2012 and the cost is $4,295.
